 Established in 1958 Bear River Supply, Inc. has near fifty years experience that farmers can rely on. Owned by Big Valley Ag Products, the company can count on Big Valley’s other affiliates and IAP (Independent Agribusiness Professionals) to support our customers needs. We are dedicated to ensuring the protection of the environment while helping our customers remain productive and profitable in the all-economic climates. Bear River Supply provides its customers crop nutrients, crop protection products and services. These customers are in the agricultural, turf and ornamental industries. We help customers choose and use effective products to improve yields, in a safe and efficient manner. Orchard and rice production have always been a large part of our business. Customers in Sutter, Yuba, Placer, Butte, Yolo, and Sacramento counties are served by Bear River Supply, Inc. Bear River Sales staff is made up of licensed PCA’s, attending training year round. New products are constantly being introduced. Application and delivery equipment is part of the Bear River services. Other services provides include field checking, water and soil sampling, plant tissue tests, regulatory record keeping, spray rig calibration and fertility recommendations. Bear River Supply was founded nearly fifty years ago, to provide fertilizer to the orchard markets nearby. Founded by Howard French, W.J. French and William Hudson it serviced orchard and hop fields in the area. Service has always been a key in the company success and remains an important part of today’s business.
